When designing the Electric Ease patent-pending system, we wanted to cover multiple types of estimation. With that in mind, we included 3 options to choose from. All 3 options are viewable on the estimating screen at the same time.

  • Option 1 is designed for our service and residential clients. Residential estimating typically uses “per opening” pricing. Option 1 best utilizes this estimation style. Service electricians need the highest margins built into their prices to cover the added costs of service work. Using Option 1 will include your highest value in the estimate to help cover your added expenses.
  • For larger projects, estimators will typically take their total costs and apply a markup. Option 2 will show your actual costs of assemblies, added labor and added material. You can apply your markup and taxes directly to your company’s actual cost to produce your estimate.

  • Option 3 can be utilized for changes, service and small projects. This option allows the estimator to simply enter a price that they feel is justified for the project. Option 3 can also be used to enter book prices for electrical contractors who use book pricing.

The Electric Ease Electrical Estimating Software & Complete Job Management System was designed by a life-long master electrician that became frustrated with the lack of an end-to-end solution to his bidding and job management headaches.

Our vision is to break the conventional boundaries of how electrical estimating software functions and is utilized by bringing new cutting edge ideas to the system at a cost that is affordable and sustainable to the user.
